Objectives
This program covers two separate, but related projects: Part A – Health Care System Preparedness for Ebola and Part B – Development of a Regional Network for Ebola Patient Care. The purpose of this program is to (1) improve healthcare system preparedness for Ebola and (2) develop a regional hospital network for Ebola patient care.
Eligible applicants
Eligible applicants are the 62 Hospital Preparedness Program (HPP) awardees, which include health departments in all 50 States, the District of Columbia, the nation’s three largest municipalities (Chicago, Los Angeles County, and New York City, the Commonwealths of Puerto Rico and the Northern Mariana Islands, the territories of American Samoa, Guam, and the United States Virgin Islands, the Federated States of Micronesia, and the Republics of Palau and the Marshall Islands.
