Objectives
To support the development of Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) units in communities throughout the United States to: (1) increase capacity at the community level to respond during emergencies which have medical consequences, and (2) improve public health in communities through volunteerism on an ongoing basis.
Eligible applicants
Project A- Public and Private Community Health programs. Project B- State, Territory, freely associated state, and the District of Columbia. Reference Funding Opportunity Announcement
Financial assistance range
One Cooperative Agreement awarded up to the amount of $2,000,000 in Year 1.
