Objectives
To improve student’s academic achievement by increasing the capacity of States, local educational agencies (LEAs), schools and local communities to: (1) provide all students with access to a well-rounded education; (2) improve school conditions for student learning; and (3) improve the use of technology in order to improve the academic achievement and digital literacy for all students.
Eligible applicants
State educational agencies including for the Outlying Areas and the Secretary of the Interior. LEAs and Indian tribal schools are subgrantees.
Financial assistance range
FY 23 range: $1,115,914-$157,754,771; FY 23 average: $23,607,702. FY 24 est range: $1,027,009-$152,871,088; FY 24 est average: $23,607,702. FY 25 est range: $1,027,009-$164,909,373; FY24 est average $23,607,702. Financial information for this program excludes supplemental appropriations for activities to support safe and healthy students under the Bipartisan Safer Communities Act (P.L. 117-159).
