Nonproliferation and Arms Control (NPAC): NNSA’s Office of Nonproliferation and Arms Control (NPAC) strengthens nonproliferation and arms control regimes to prevent proliferation, ensure peaceful nuclear uses, and enable verifiable nuclear reductions and limitations on nuclear, biological, and chemical weapons. Areas regarding Nuclear Safeguards, Export Controls, Verification, and Policy.
Eligible applicants
Universities (public and private), institutions of higher education, whose activities benefit the general public through results which are available to the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA), other U.S. government agencies, and universities and institutions of higher learning may apply.
Financial assistance range
Past 10 years and the Current budget fiscal year for financial assistance range from $100,000 to $1,000,000 per fiscal year per award for an average of twelve grants/cooperative agreements for DNN NA-24 NPAC Office on a five-year period of performance.
