Projects encompass a broad range of research, operational, and educational activities across all aspects of cultural resource stewardship, including but not limited to inventory, monitoring, research, rehabilitation, reconstruction, restoration, preservation, documentation, data recovery, and education.

State, local, or tribal government or other public entity, an educational institution, or a private nonprofit organization.
