The Experienced Services Program (ESP) will provide support to Department of the Interior (DOI) Office of the Secretary program offices and divisions.
Objectives
The Experienced Services Program (ESP) will provide support to Department of the Interior (DOI) Office of the Secretary program offices and divisions. Special emphasis will be placed on projects that support policy and program initiatives in support of DOI land and water resources. ESP participants will provide technical assistance and support to the DOI in the development and execution of projects that benefit the public. This program will provide opportunities to qualified individuals 55 years of age and older, who have specific technical skills and abilities not available or underrepresented at current DOI staffing levels. ESP participants will not replace or displace current DOI employees.
Eligible applicants
This program is limited to qualified nonprofit organizations subject to 26 U.S.C 501(c) (3) of the tax code and must be designated by the Secretary of Labor under Title V of the Older Americans Act of 1965.
